Day 8: Compliment v. Complement

You know, I was doing pretty badass and having consistent commenting on my first few posts which really made me feel good, but the past few entries must have sucked since everybody stopped commenting. The only people I know for sure are reading are Kimber and my mom (hi mom!).

Anyways, as far as boosting up the number of readers and the number of commenters, I don't think that this entry is going to do much for that because it is pretty dry.

Today, I learned the difference between the words compliment and complement. I don't think that I realized that there was a different prior to having something I wrote reviewed by my boss. I always knew that there were two meanings to the word, but what I didn't know was that they were spelled differently.

Compliment with an I refers to:
1. an expression of praise, commendation, or admiration

Comlement with an E refers to:
1. something that completes or makes perfect

And thats your something new for Friday, August 8!

Happy Olympics!

You're pretty.

You mentioned my name, thus I comment. I feel like it's a you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours deal.

And I figured, the best way to complement this post was with a compliment.

Yeah, I went there. What of it?
